About It’s Academic
It’s Academic was founded in 2008 to meet the need for a staffing agency that specializes in academic placements. After 15 years working in education, Mr. Becker, recognized the need for a staffing solution designed specifically for educational institutions.
“Schools seeking qualified candidates were limited to open job boards that delivered hundreds of under-qualified or mis-qualified candidates, or job search agencies that didn’t understand the specific needs of academic staffing,” Becker explained. “It’s Academic meets the needs of client-schools and teaching professionals through the use of proprietary database software, web-based recruiting technology and an experienced team of specialized academic recruiters.”It’s Academic is becoming well-regarded in the academic community for providing staffing solutions that pre-qualify candidates for teaching and administrative positions in schools, colleges and universities in Canada, the U.S. and in learning institutions around the globe.
