Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and CELTA, TESOL Certification and some organizations a MA.in TESOL, Linguistics or EFL is also required. Candidates should have EFL teaching experience as well as five years senior administrative experience in a similar atmosphere or program with strong operational, sales and marketing experience; experience in teacher training and managing career development; experience teaching oversees and in a variety of contexts; experience teaching ESL/EFL to adults in a mixed language environment; exceptional customer service, entrepreneurial and leadership skills; experience with student recruitment and marketing; a background in faculty management, observation and training. Canddiates should be efficient with MS Office Suite applications and must thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high energy environment; able to travel locally and work occasional evenings and weekends, especially during the peak season during the summer months. Experience working in the United States is essential; international experience is an asset. Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Additional Details: Assist the Director of Studies in the strategic academic management of the Centre, and Regional Academic Director in the creation of academic strategy for the organisation. Actively participate in the development of the course content and implementation tasks. Ensure the successful delivery of the academic product and manage all academic HR requirements. Generally ensure high teaching quality by promoting continual professional development, empowerment, innovation and new ideas from both internal and external sources through strong leadership.
