Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and CELTA, TESOL Certification- and some organizations also require a TESOL, Linguistics or EFL. Candidates should have ESL teaching experience, as well as five years senior administrative experience in a similar atmosphere or program; strong operational, sales and marketing experience; experience in teacher training and managing career development; experience in teaching oversees and in a variety of contexts; experience teaching ESL/EFL to adults in a mixed language environment; exceptional customer service, entrepreneurial and leadership skills; experience with student recruitment and marketing; a background in faculty management, observation and training; efficient with MS Office Suite applications; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high energy environment; the ability to travel locally and work occasional evenings and weekends, especially during the peak season during the summer months; international experience is an asset. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Additional Details: Assist the Director of Studies in the strategic academic management of the centre; assist the Regional Academic Director in the creation of academic strategy for the organisation; actively participate in the development of the course content and implementation tasks; ensure the successful delivery of the academic product; manage all academic HR requirements; and generally ensure high teaching quality by promoting continual professional development, empowerment, innovation and new ideas from both internal and external sources through strong leadership.
