Our client offers accredited Canadian, British Columbia high school programs in major cities across China. Our client is looking for high school English Teachers to start in August 2017. The organization is the largest and most established Canadian high school program provider in China. Their students are eligible to graduate with a Canadian high school diploma, and they will typically attend a college or university in Canada or another English speaking country after graduation. Our client is looking for professional, academic-minded, certified, native English speaking teachers. A two-year contract is required, with room for growth and excellent benefits. Positions are available in multiple locations in including: Tianjin, Wuhan, Dalian, Shanghai, Chongqing, Zhanjiang and other Chinese cities.
Benefits: Yearly compensation ranges between $50,000 to $64,000 CAD per year depending on education and Canadian teaching experience. Although teachers will teach for ten months, this salary is paid over twelve months. Round-trip airfare is provided for each academic year. Accommodation is located no further than a fifteen minute walk to the school and ranges from $300 to $500 per month, depending on the number of bedrooms. Internationally recognized medical is provided as well as other settlement and dependent benefits such as educational allowances are provided. Most importantly, teachers enjoy Canadian administration and a professional working atmosphere with academic-minded staff.
Qualifications: A bachelor of education is required. Our client is looking for teachers who are certified to teach middle or high school English. Teachers from Canada are preferred, but certified teachers from the US, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and the UK may also be considered if they meet the requirements for British Columbia teacher certification. New teachers are welcome to apply. Candidates will be asked to supply a teaching report, transcripts, reference letters and a detailed resume.
