Job Overview: Our client is a large North American based post-secondary program provider with 22 campuses in 11 different countries around the world. They are seeking a talented Regional Sales Manager to help lead their admissions office, which is located in the Central Business District (CBD) Guo Mao area, Beijing. Their main objectives will be to leverage existing relationships and lead the Chinese admissions team by setting measurable goals and objectives in order to achieve strong recruitment targets.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will be legally able to work in China with a Chinese passport; fluent in Mandarin and English; possess experience working within an international environment, preferably in education; have experience in student recruitment or sales in a target-driven environment; a university level education; outstanding communication skills; excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to work under pressure to meet challenging targets and deadlines; a high degree of drive and self-motivation; knowledge and understanding of international higher education systems around the world; willing to travel within China or overseas independently and to work irregular hours when required (6 weeks per year throughout the region including exhibitions, open days, seminars and meetings).
Additional Details: Achieve challenging student recruitment targets for the campuses (primarily with the campuses located in Canada, Australia and Spain); Provide excellent customer service; Work to generate new leads in markets by working with agents and direct sources; Convert leads, as well as identify and pursue new business opportunities; Attend recruitment fairs and events across China; Work with members of the college in order to meet targets; Ensure agents are trained on programs, campuses and study permit regulations; Evaluate and monitor the recruitment and marketing activities to ensure effectiveness and adherence to budget; Develop marketing collateral to support sales and recruitment in regions, Liaise with the North American marketing department; Provide support on market-based projects and assist with other activities as required by the Director of the International Division.
