Overview: High-quality and fully-accredited K-12 international school, authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in Grades 11 and 12, is seeking an experienced and qualified Grade 2 Teacher. 

Location: Cairo, Egypt

Contract Dates: 2 year contract starts August 2012 with an option to renew at the end of the school year.

Compensation and Benefits: Very competitive all-inclusive compensation, generous yearly completion bonus; other benefits include fully-furnished accommodation provided, round-trip annual air-travel, re-location stipend, local transportation to and from school, medical and disability insurance, visa and family benefits. Full or partial tuition for children will be provided. Additional stipends provided for teachers that coach, manage extra-curricular activities or teach IB classes.

Qualifications Required: B. Ed. and an advanced degree (MA) is desirable in the field but not necessary, as well as 3 plus years teaching at this grade level and a state/provincial teacher certificate are mandatory. PYP/IB experience strongly preferred. Solid academic credentials, desire and experience to contribute in activities – academic, advising, essay reading, sports and the like.
